Layout / Report Design, Presentation

UCSF’s Center for Health Equity needed a presentation system that could carry its maternity care data and that its team could reuse without needing a designer.

Since the team would be building future decks on their own, I focused on making the design dependable as well as attractive. Graphics that were locked into the layouts became editable elements, and every layout was tested. I brought the file up to accessibility standards with alt text on images, charts, and tables, decorative elements marked as such, slide titles and reading order set, and corrected contrast and minimum text sizes. The template is delivered as an editable .pptx and a clean .potx, and a branded six-page how-to guide shows the team how to duplicate example slides and add new ones without breaking the design.
