Slides + Sides is a vegan fast food company with a specialty in sliders. They’re opening in Atlanta Georgia but with a California night-life vibe, the founders stomping grounds.

We appealed to the night-life / fast food crowd, by making the mark vibrant & exciting. The fiery red-orange color induces the feeling of hunger and energy! The deep purple accent expresses royalty, power, and spirituality.

Incorporating the original logo usage of an actual playground slide became important after recognizing the purpose behind comfort food during research. It alleviates stress & brings feelings of childhood nostalgia. So we invoke that same energy by re-using the slide (but in an abstract way) to pull on that childhood feeling. It also furthers the tag line we created of of “slide through” which reinforces the west coast lingo that became important to their voice.
