We designed a micro-site for Wikimedias campaign called "400 NYC". They sent out a public request for folks to spotlight New York City’s rich diversity by updating or creating Wikipedia articles for 400 neighborhoods and 400 remarkable individuals.
Specifically, they called on the public to nominate influential Latino and Black New Yorkers who deserve to be recognized but aren’t yet on Wikipedia. To capture these nominations we implemented a form that fed into a server-side database.
