Scattard is an upcoming digital platform for people of the diaspora or as the client calls them "the scattard". It is meant to be a comfortable space for folks of this origin to commune in a safe place where they can speak openly about their experiences. Taking his brand name Scattard and his explanation of the word “The word Scattard is a portmanteau of scattered and -ard. Although the suffix -ard is usually perjorative, as in bastard, it is also used as a demonym when the word is capitalized. For example, Spaniard. So a Scattard is a native or inhabitant of the scatter. Understanding diaspora in Greek means, "to scatter." With this in mind the scattering of the dots within the logo mimic the diasporic route while uncovering the rawness of the wording below.
